Telugu horror-thriller
"Muni 3" producer Bellam Konda Suresh is confident of the film's
success and he attributes it to its director, Raghava Lawrence.
The movie went on floors Wednesday.
"'Muni' series has been very successful to date and thanks to Raghava
Lawrence for that. Though the last two films in the series may have
been dubbed in Telugu, they went on to be big money spinners. I'm sure
the third part will also be as successful as the previous instalments,"
Suresh said .
The film, written and directed by Lawrence, stars Lawrence himself in the title role alongside Tapsee Pannu.
"The full length shooting of the film
will start from January next year. Tapsee has a very strong role, while
the film will be scarier than the last two films, yet it will maintain
good amount of comedy," he added.
While the Telugu dubbed version of
"Muni" did average business, the Telugu dubbed version of "Muni 2:
Kanchana" raked in over Rs.5 crore at the box office.
Vijay Anthony will compose music for the film, which will have cinematography by Kiccha.
